About Caochangdi

The relationship between a home and a person, or between a home and a family seems to be an extended affair of everyday. Nonetheless, what is everyday? The children have grown up, we have also become older; this is a record of the passage of time. Through the action of “looking”, we created a family portrait. We have inherited the primary function of photography – documentation.

About Three Shadows

It was necessary to rebuild our home. The disappearance of Liulitun gave us a rebirth at Three Shadows. From the moment of groundbreaking for the construction of Three Shadows, its life grew brick by brick in front of us. This is like a new life growing inside us, which allows us to feel the miracle of the universe. The internal and the external worlds both experience the same cycle of destruction and creation.
